test?
| 1. |
Log
into Acuity. |
| 2. |
Click

Report. |
| 3.
|
Select
the subject and assessment type. Then click Get Report. |

see the percentage of your students scoring in each
tier. Clicking the percent will tell you which students
account for that percent. |

To
generate the report, click the print button at the top
of the page. This opens the report in a format that
is easy to print. |
| 6. |
Along
with the printing, notice there is an Assign link on
this view as well. This is a great way to assign practice
to your students. When you click the Assign link you
will get an option for a specific skill to assign. Once
you select the skill, a window will open showing how
all your students scored on that particular skill. By
checking the box next to students' names, you easily
can assign the practice to just those students who actually
need the extra practice. |

|
| A
little bit about the practice assignments . . . |
| 1. |
Each
practice session starts with 5 - 10 pages of just written
review, no individual practice. Students can either
read this on their own or click the listen icon and
listen to the review. |
|
| 2. |
Once
the students have listened to the review, they have
a basic quiz they can take with yes/no answers. Students
may choose to listen to the questions and answers here
as well. |
|
| 3. |
Finally
students get to the point where the "real"
practice is. Once they answer the basic quiz, a quiz
along the lines of the Acuity benchmark test appears.
Students have multiple choice questions where they must
read on their own. |

How
do I assign practice quizzes?
| One
way . . . |
| |
There
are several ways to assign the quizzes Acuity offers.
One way is to assign straight off the Class Assessment
Report you can generate. Here
are the steps for doing that. I would suggest you
look into assigning in this manner. You instantly can
see the students that need the extra practice. |
| A
second way . . . |
| 1. |
Log
into Acuity. |
| 2. |
Click
Instructional Resources, select Assign by Skill/Standard
(or Student). |
| 3.
|
Search
for the Skills. |
|
| 4. |
The
window that opens will have students listed. You just
check the students you want to have the extra practice,
scroll to the bottom and click Assign these Students. |
| |
|
|
|

can I view the results of the practice quizzes?

The
genereated report will have the students and their score.
You can click the score to see specifically what answer
the students selected on the practice questions. This
will also show you the exact question as well. Notice
there is a Print button at the top of the report to
generate a printed report. |

You
will most likely need to wait for a while before the
report is generated - maybe 20 - 30 minutes. You will
