How do I find my students' account information, logins and passwords?
If you have trouble with other kids logins you can see their login accounts if you look at your rosters
in Accuity. Here is how:

1. Log into Acuity or Acuity from home with your fullname as your username and then your password.
2. Go to the Management option on the left pane; then chose Classes
3. Click on Show Existing Classes
4. Then click View your Rosters.
5. Now you can see each student, their username and password.
6. If you want to print them, scroll to the bottom of the screen and click on Print Roster.

How do I change my password?
1. Log into Acuity or Acuity from home with your fullname as your username and then your password.
2. Open My Settings, Profile, Edit Profile
3. Enter the password you want in the password window.
4. Click Save Profile.

How do I enter the scores from the constructed response questions of the benchmark test?
1. Log into Acuity or Acuity from home.
2. Open Test, select Scoring and Scan Processing, select Manually Score Items.
3. Enter the required information -the subject and assessment type.
4. Scroll down and click the View link under Score CR Answers.
5. The next window that opens will search for graded, non-graded or both and your students. Determine what you want searched and click the search button.
6. Scroll down to your student names and enter their score by clicking the round button.
7. Click Submit to enter the grades to Acuity.

How do I generate my class's scores from the Acuity benchmark test?
1. Log into Acuity or Acuity from home.
2. Click Reports, select Assessment Reports, then Class Assessment Report.
3. Select the subject and assessment type. Then click Get Report.
4. The report that is generated has several features. You can see the percentage of your students scoring in each tier. Clicking the percent will tell you which students account for that percent.
5. To generate the report, click the print button at the top of the page. This opens the report in a format that is easy to print.
6. Along with the printing, notice there is an Assign link on this view as well. This is a great way to assign practice to your students. When you click the Assign link you will get an option for a specific skill to assign. Once you select the skill, a window will open showing how all your students scored on that particular skill. By checking the box next to students' names, you easily can assign the practice to just those students who actually need the extra practice.

How can I preview and see what the practice assignments I would like to assign?
1. Log into Acuity or Acuity from home.
2. Click Instructional Resources then select preview.
3. Enter the information you are looking for - skills, grade level, etc. Click Search.
4. The window that opens will have several skill options and preview of two different versions. Click one of the versions to get an idea of what the practice looks like.
A little bit about the practice assignments . . .
1. Each practice session starts with 5 - 10 pages of just written review, no individual practice. Students can either read this on their own or click the listen icon and listen to the review.
2. Once the students have listened to the review, they have a basic quiz they can take with yes/no answers. Students may choose to listen to the questions and answers here as well.
3. Finally students get to the point where the "real" practice is. Once they answer the basic quiz, a quiz along the lines of the Acuity benchmark test appears. Students have multiple choice questions where they must read on their own.

How do I assign practice quizzes?
One way . . .
There are several ways to assign the quizzes Acuity offers. One way is to assign straight off the Class Assessment Report you can generate. Here are the steps for doing that. I would suggest you look into assigning in this manner. You instantly can see the students that need the extra practice.
A second way . . .
1. Log into Acuity or Acuity from home.
2. Click Instructional Resources, select Assign by Skill/Standard (or Student).
3. Search for the Skills.
4. The window that opens will have students listed. You just check the students you want to have the extra practice, scroll to the bottom and click Assign these Students.

How can I view the results of the practice quizzes?

1. Log into Acuity or Acuity from home.
2. Click Instructional Resources, then select Status by Skill Group (or Student).
3. Search for the subject and skill.
4. The genereated report will have the students and their score. You can click the score to see specifically what answer the students selected on the practice questions. This will also show you the exact question as well. Notice there is a Print button at the top of the report to generate a printed report.

How can I run a batch report of my class's progress?
1. Log into Acuity or Acuity from home.
2. Click Reports, select Assessment Reports, then Batch Generate Student Assessment by Class.
3. Select the Subject, Class and Assessment for the report.
4. Then click Generate Reports in Batch.
5. Check Schedule Batch for Processing and select a date. Give the report a name and click Create Batch.
6. You will most likely need to wait for a while before the report is generated - maybe 20 - 30 minutes. You will find the report on your home page of Acuity. This is the page you see when you log in. When the report is ready, click the link and it will open in a format that will be very easy to print.
